Chocolate Chip Blondies



1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease an 8" square pan.

2. Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time and beat to blend.

3. Add the vanilla and beat well.

4. Whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt. Add to the batter and stir just until combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.

5. Scrape the batter into the pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

6. Cool in the pan set on a wire rack. Makes 16 blondies.
