Cucumber Salad
INGREDIENTS
- ☐ 2 English cucumbers, thinly sliced
- ☐ 1 small white onion, thinly sliced
- ☐ 1 cup white vinegar
- ☐ 1/2 cup water
- ☐ 3/4 cup white sugar
- ☐ 1 tablespoon dried dill, or to taste
PREPARATION
1. Toss together the cucumbers and onion in a large bowl. Salt and cover for 2 hours.
2. Drain water from cucumbers.
3. Combine the vinegar, dill, water and sugar in a saucepan over medium-high heat.
4. Bring to a boil, and pour over the cucumber and onions.
5. Cover and refrigerate at least two hours, preferably overnight.
