Potatoes Au Gratin

INGREDIENTS


PREPARATION

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.

  2. In a large saucepan, melt butter over low heat.

  3. Stir in flour, salt and pepper until smooth. Gradually add milk.

  4. Bring to a boil; cook and stir 2 minutes or until thickened.

  5. Remove from heat; stir in cheese until melted.

  6. Add potatoes and onion.

  7. Transfer to a greased two 2-qt. baking dishes. Cover and bake 1 hour.

  8. Uncover; bake 30-40 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
